17 ноября началась DelphiCon Worldwide 2020 - официальная онлайн-конференция посвященная Embarcadero Delphi. Для меня важнейшим результатом первого дня конференции была презентация Embarcadero RAD Studio, Delphi и C++Builder roadmap на 2020/2021, который обещали показать еще июле.
Сегодняшние доклады:
- 18:00. Real-world CodeSite Logging Techniques. Bob Swart (Developer, Bob Swart Training & Consultancy). In this session, Bob will demonstrate some real-world Delphi application logging techniques using CodeSite.
- 19:00. Windows VCL Panel. Ian Barker, Marco Cantù, Alister Christie, Victory Fernandes (Vic), Dr. Holger Flick, David Millington and Dalija Prasnikar. Join product management and this panel of VCL experts for answers to your questions on using the best visual component library for Windows development.
- 20:00. Leveraging High DPI in VCL Applications. Ray Konopka (Raize Software, Inc.). Recent releases of Delphi have provided greater support for High DPI. Most notably, the VCL Styles architecture has been significantly extended in Delphi 10.4 Sydney to support High DPI and 4K monitors. Combined with new project options and specialized image list controls, VCL Applications are now able to leverage High DPI better than ever before. This session will show you how.
- 21:00. FireDAC Database Access Panel. Cary 𝔍ensen, Jens Fudge and Olaf Monien. An Interactive FireDAC Q&A with Author Cary Jensen and panel of FireDAC experts. Come prepared with questions for our panel, or just tune in to hear a wide range of FireDAC-related topics.
- 22:00. Code Faster in Delphi. Alister Christie (LearnDelphi.tv). I've written a book called "Code Faster in Delphi", which is all about being more productive in the Delphi IDE, so in this talk, I will share with you some tips and tricks you can use to make you much more productive in Delphi.
- 23:00. Upgrade and Migration Panel. Stephen Ball, Mary Kelly and Al Mannarino. During the session, the panel will discuss top tips for migration, stories about project migrations they have worked on, and the resources available to help you with Delphi (and C++) project migration.
